Dear Mr. Ryan,
I am writing to provide feedback after having a generator installed by Ryan. They were very professional from being on- time for appointments, workers were courteous and they completed the work as promised. I was especially appreciative of the time spent to explain the process to me, both what was involved in installing the generator and what my responsibilities are to maintain it. They even called after the job was completed to remind me to get the final inspection done.

I have been a customer of yours for over 20 years. During that time you installed a gas furnace i purchased for my home in Union. And more recently you installed a new air conditioner and high efficiency gas furnace and air conditioner. I have had a service contract with you all these years and you have done other work in my home. Through the years Ryan has been wonderful!!
I don't usually wright letters, bvut your team of Joe and Nick just removed my old oil tank buried in my front lawn. Naturally I was quite concerned with this, as I have heard too many bad stories about problems with 60+ year old tanks. Through every step in the process they were great. They are true professionals!

Me and family would like to thank you and professional folks who turned our cold porous shell of a house into a warm heat retaining home. The conversion from oil to gas means no more dreading oil pricing and having be here for delivery. You placed a automatic feeder and no more worrying about adding water to boiler. Your people arrived at 7am treated our home with respect and informed us of what they were doing. You had people all addressing the task air sealing, radiators, pipe works, boiler replacement, thermostat, steam pipe insulation, oil tank drain, asbestos removal, electrical work and future oil tank removal when weather permits. All at a price that allowed us to go forward with it.

I would like to express my appreciation for a job well done once again. Ken quoted and coordinated the installation of new duct work, the rehanging of the fan coil on vibration pads with an emergency drain pan and float switch, and the replacement of all ceiling registers for my air conditioning system. He is professional and personable and communicates with the customer and his crew in a way that makes it a pleasure to work with him. Lou and the other guys did a great job in tight quarters, they were well organized, efficient, and they kept the job site neat throughout the day. Finally, Palmira kept all the quotation and billing communications organized for someone who hates the internet.

I was lucky to find your company and even luckier to meet Tony, your employee, this afternoon. He came to inspect a pool heater. The gas valve was broken. He diagnosed the problem immediately and corrected it with grace and efficiency. They don't make workers like him anymore. Tony's performance was so good that I was pleased to follow his suggestion and acquire one of your comfort plans for the heater. I will probably do the same with other appliances thanks to Tony. I have rarely been as happy with service as I was today.
I believe that employees who deal directly with customers play a very big role in shaping the public images of their companies. You may rest assured that Tony projects an extremely positive image of Ryan Plumbing. I hope you can include this note in Tony's personnel file for future reference.

Excellent Experience with Bruce Stanley and Ryan Overall
We had lost power to certain appliances like the dryer, hot water heater and stove. I found Ryan on the Internet (Google Search) and called late Friday afternoon. I don't remember the name of the guy I spoke with but he was up front and said that he couldn't get someone that evening but would be able to first thing Saturday morning. We agreed that I would keep looking for someone who could come sooner and he would have his person check with me at 8:00 Saturday morning to see if we still needed him.
I got a call at exactly 8:00 am from Bruce Stanley as promised. He said he would be down before 9:30 and arrived at 9:10. He was obviously very knowledgeable and very quickly figured out what was wrong, explaining to me along the way everything he was doing, checking and thinking. When he determined that the problem was outside the house from JCP&L's generator, he stopped all work and told me to call them. He gave me detailed information about what they might find and do so that I would be better prepared when they came. Bruce also gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any questions about what the JCP&L people were saying. JCP&L came, determined it was their issue and fixed it exactly how Bruce said they might.
I have had a number of bad experiences with contractors in this area and this was the exact opposite. I really appreciate the honesty and openness from the first person not trying to promise getting someone out sooner so that I would not call anyone else when he couldn't make that happen. I especially thank Bruce for his experience and educating me so I would not be taken advantage of. That is so rare these days and really means the world to me. Because of your obvious company policy of caring about your customer, I would use Ryan again in a minute and would definitely ask for Bruce again, Also, considering that you service a large area, I will let as many people as possible know about you as possible. This kind of service deserves to be rewarded with all the business available.

this young man in my home three times to do work for me. His work is perfect, his demeanor
is excellent and his willingness to please is a pleasure. Each time he has come to my home

I am writing to tell you about a wonderful experience I had using your company. For the past 6 weeks I had been experiencing an awful fog horn like noise throughout my entire apartment. My daughter became a client of Ryan's because she was looking for a dependable company that saw a project to successful conclusion, regardless of what it took. She recently purchased a house in Chatham Township that unfortunately had many hidden flaws that did not show up during the inspection and therefore needed more work than expected after the closing. Being a single mom, she turned to me, her father for help. Being brand new to the area, I didn't know who to call, until I found Ryan on the Internet. I liked the fact that Ryan had the expertise to do all the work that was need without calling in separate technicians.
The other day my daughter called to say that a circuit breaker had tripped and would not reset. As a result several rooms were without electricity in her home, including my granddaughter's bedroom. I drove over to her house to see if I could be of help, but realized the problem was beyond what I could do and I called Ryan. This was on the Saturday after Christmas when most people were enjoying the holidays with their families and I feared we would not be able to fix the problem until the following week. After making the call to Ryan, I was told they could have someone come over that day. I was very pleased to learn this.
The electrician who they sent was Bruce. He immediately went to work to locate the problem. He was very pleasant and the consummate professional. The problem was somewhere in the electrical system and he set out to find and fix the problem, regardless of how difficult it was. It was obvious to me that he is a top notch electrician and very dedicated to what he does and Ryan should be proud to have him on their staff. A company's reputation is based on two factors, customer service and the people they employ. To a large extent, the Ryan technician is an extension of the company since that is the person who most interacts with the customer. I could not have been more pleased with the customer service I received on this and former calls to the company. All the Ryan technicians who have worked in my daughter's home were professional and courteous. Needless to say Bruce eventually found the problem and left my daughter's home is very good shape and I was very grateful.

I just wanted to let you know of my experience with one of your employees today and with the service provided. Let me begin by telling you that I have used Ryan twice before--once in 1999 and again in 2004. My air conditioner was not working properly. I called and Tony P. came to look at the problem.
His professionalism and knowledge far exceeded any expectations I had. He was extremely thorough, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to fix my machine. I asked for prices for when we replace our system and he was more than willing to get that information for me and to explain everything.
How nice it is to deal with people in the service business with such great customer service! On one of the coldest days of the winter so far, we were so grateful to have two knowledgeable techs come to our house and quickly solve our problem. Dear Mr. Ryan,
We are contacting you to let you know how extremely happy we are with the job we had done in December. We upgraded the heating and cooling systems, with converting from oil to gas, and also the hot water heater. We redirected the systems to an outside vent and ran duct work from the basement to the attic where new rooms will be made. There was also a fan replaced in the attic ceiling for ventilation. The group of workers you have working for you were "outstanding". Kevin was the first worker we met and listened to all of our plans and explained the entire job in detail. He stayed in touch and even stopped by on the job to see the production go on. He always welcomed our comments and any concerns and was always available to us. We had many estimates for this job and Kevin's professionalism and knowledge gave us the assurance this was the company for us. Robert, Abe the electrician, and the other gentlemen on the job were prompt every morning. They worked consistently, professionally, and they were very kind and considerate. We picked a very cold week to have the job converted and they made sure they did not let us go a night without heat. All of the workers were in sync with the details of the job and they all knew from start to finish what had to be done. The two brothers Danny and Joe who removed the oil tank from our basement were also extremely professional and nice. They handled all of the necessary paper work for the township and gave us instructions on the inspection. Overall, for having such a large job take place the workers were done in a matter of a few days and we had no worries about the job for we knew we were in "great" hands! We thank you and everyone at Ryan's and you should be proud of the team of workers you have there! We will pass your name on to any of our family and friends should they need services done. We will look forward to working with you again in the future!

To whom it may concern
On the morning of December 8th, I discovered the heat to my house was not working. I called Ryan Heating after I was given your number from Elizabethtown Gas. Your rep, Paula., took all my information within a few minutes. She gave me a time in the afternoon that I should expect a visit. What I was surprised at is that she called my cell phone on the way to work just minutes later. She told me a technician was available that morning. I said that was perfect and would meet the tech at my house.
Just before I arrived at my, the technician, Norbert, called to inform me that he was about 10 minutes away. Once he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me he’d be back within an hour with the needed part (igniter). He returned in about 30 minutes. A short time later, my furnace was running again.
I want to compliment both Paula and Norbert for their fine work ethic and concern, especially on a very cold day. If they represent the rest of your employees, than I can see why Ryan Inc has been successfully helping the public for almost 70 years.
